The latest Dark Alley Session, features singer / songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer “mikk”, who performed three songs in the space.

mikk played two originals, one titled “Company”, which received notable love from Triple J producers on Triple J Unearthed, which in turn scored mikk some Triple J airtime. She is set to release a six track EP shortly.

MAX DE GROOT

Max has been in the studio recording original music lately and we were lucky to have him play a couple of those tracks for our session.

Following his two originals, he plays a huge, grooving version of Bill Withers' Ain't No Sunshine

Long time collaborators Roy Rose, Phil Harmonics and Bernie Smith have come together as Rose & The Thorns to play this Dark Alley Sessions in Port Macquarie. Bringing their own brand of Blues and Folk music to the table.

Dark Alley Sessions is a collaboration between Brad Collins and Josh Thompson from The Thing Upstairs Studio.
