The latest Dark Alley Session features Port Macquarie two-piece, ROYAL CHANT!

Royal Chant played three tracks from their extensive 7 album repertoire.

Royal Chant (often abbreviated as RC) is an Australian indie rock band formed in 2009 in the small coastal town of Port Macquarie.

The band has made frequent personnel changes but has always maintained the presence of principal songwriter & singer/guitarist Mark Spence.

The current line-up consists of Mark on guitar or baritone guitar and vocals and Wade Mobbs behind the drums.

Guitarist and multi-instrumentalist James Carthew remains a contributing member of the band despite living and working in Ann Arbour, Michigan in the U-S-of-A.

The band is currently finishing work on their 8th studio LP, titled Shoot The Messenger, which is slated for release in mid-2021.
