Pablo Blitzer Trio

Pablo Blitzer is an Argentinian composer, pianist, saxophonist and clarinetist currently living in Australia.

His first release "First Studies in Odd Meters" was very well received and reflects his vast range of experiences and diverse explorations in the fields of jazz and classical music and folkloric music from different parts of the world.

His second album “Free Fall” continues this exploration with a stronger influence from funk and R&B.

His current trio with Pete Skelton (Shannon Noll, Wendy Mathews) on drums and Danny Stitt (Uncle Jed) on double bass lays the foundation for his upcoming album "Songbook" where he explores a more folkloric, classical and perhaps more abstract approach to his compositions to focus on imagery and storytelling.

In addition to his own works, he also composed and performed with various groups, touring Europe, South America and Australia.

Pablo also works as an educator teaching at the Coffs Harbour Regional Conservatorium.

In this MiNi (digital) Concert session, Pablo and his band perform two of his original compositions.
