Joey Leigh Wagtail

Joey Leigh Wagtail, a Dunghutti/Gumbaynggirr man hailing from South West Rocks.

He has been playing and writing music since his early adolescence.

He loves sharing his original material whilst interweaving his favourite covers from every decade.

Joey has played in various bands for over 10 years but started creating his one-man band show during the COVID lockdowns.

Joey Leigh Wagtail was a recent recipient of a Music Fellowship with the Astral People, including a residency at the Powerhouse Museum in 2022.

His music is an eclectic blend of rock, blues and folk.

Joey performs three of his original songs for our MiNi (digital) Concerts series.
